AIFS Festival Congress

Counting over fifty independently-owned and run festivals as its friends, the AIF (Association of Independent Festivals) holds an annual Congress complete with awards ceremony to underpin its ethos of uniting and empowering those festivals that operate independently from the world’s largest organisations. Not-for-profit, the organisation is a veritable network of festival organisers, hosting important discussions and initiatives every year at and around its Congress. The AIF has orchestrated its members in promising to ban all single-use plastic on their sites by 2021.
