Famous during the late eighties as the underground station to find Acid House during the UK’s Summer of Love, Centreforce radio closed in its pirate format back in 1990. In 2019, the station made its triumphant comeback to DAB, with a huge, nostalgic following – as well as plenty of new dance fans – tuning in every day. Its listeners reconnect and share a love for music on the app, all of them sharing an appreciation for old school, house, soul, rare groove, disco and funk.
