Sound City

The UK’s best festival for new music, Sound City is a jewel in Liverpool’s cultural crown. The city-wide celebration of up-and-coming talent brings together hundreds of new bands and artists in guitar, indie and pop genres for a summertime party in the city. One of the first festivals in the British calendar, Sound City kicks off in May and has showcased Peace, The Kills and The Dandy Warhols in recent years, as well as hundreds of bands and artists at the start of their careers. Sound City booked artists alt-J, The xx and Ed Sheeran before they were breaking records and headlining huge stages around the world.
